Overview

Stay at the foot of Tsugaike Kogen and place yourself close to the snow, mountain trails, and outdoor attractions of the Hakuba Valley. Hotel Belle Cour Inomata sits around three minutes on foot from Tsugaike Kogen Ski Resort, making each morning simple when you want to reach the slopes without a long journey.

After skiing, hiking, or exploring the Northern Alps, you can return for a natural hot spring bath, a seasonal dinner, and time in the spacious lobby. The combination of Japanese rooms, Western rooms, home-style meals, and useful ski facilities makes this mountain hotel a comfortable base in Otari Village throughout the year.

Accommodation

You can choose a Japanese room with tatami flooring and futon bedding, a Western room with twin beds, or a Japanese-Western room that combines beds with a tatami area. The Japanese-Western rooms give you a separate bathroom and toilet, while the main Japanese and Western categories include an en-suite bathroom.

Japanese rooms range from compact spaces for shorter stays to larger rooms where you can relax together on tatami. Western rooms include two single beds, with space for an additional bed when needed. Japanese-Western rooms provide two single beds and futon bedding, giving you the choice of sleeping on a bed or closer to the traditional Japanese style.

You can also choose larger named Japanese rooms with futons or compact single rooms. Bathroom and toilet arrangements differ in these additional categories, so select your room according to the level of privacy you need.

Every room is non-smoking and includes air conditioning and heating. You also have a television, safety box, bath towel, face towel, toothbrush, and an adult yukata. These simple essentials help you settle in quickly after a day outdoors.

Dining

Wake to a Japanese and Western breakfast served with freshly baked bread. You can enjoy the aroma and soft texture of bread straight from the oven while looking out toward the Hakuba mountain scenery. During a longer stay, you may also receive a Japanese-style breakfast, bringing a change of flavour to your mornings.

Dinner follows an original course style rather than a fixed traditional format. Seasonal ingredients, locally grown vegetables, and mountain herbs shape the menu, allowing you to taste produce connected to Nagano and the surrounding countryside. The dishes change with the season, so your evening meal reflects what is fresh at the time of your visit.

Onsen and Wellness

Ease tired legs in Hakuba Tsugaike Onsen after skiing, hiking, or travelling through the mountains. You can use separate indoor communal baths for men and women, with bathing times generally scheduled from 3:00 PM to 10:30 PM and again from 6:00 AM to 8:00 AM.

The natural hot spring is a sodium chloride spring with weak alkaline, hypotonic, and high-temperature characteristics. This mineral-rich water is associated with relief from joint pain, nerve pain, stiff shoulders, bruises, sprains, sensitivity to cold, and physical fatigue. It is also linked with support for minor cuts, burns, and some long-term skin conditions.

The women’s bath includes POLA moisturising lotion and milk for use after bathing. There is no open-air bath or private hot spring bath, so all onsen bathing takes place in the indoor shared facilities.

Guests with Tattoos

You cannot use the shared hot spring baths if you have tattoos.

Facilities

You can relax in a large shared space beside the front desk, furnished with sofas and a Japanese sitting area that becomes a sunken-floor kotatsu space during winter. A children’s room gives younger travellers somewhere to play, while the elevator helps you move luggage and ski equipment between floors.

Winter facilities include an indoor ski storage area, a locker room, and space where you can store and dry skis, snowboards, boots, and other equipment. You also have access to Wi-Fi throughout the building, heating and air conditioning in every room, a reservable meeting room, an entertainment space, luggage services, and on-site parking. Major credit cards are accepted.

Activities

Walk to Tsugaike Kogen Ski Resort for broad slopes that work especially well when you are new to skiing, travelling with children, or looking for a relaxed day on the snow. You can also explore Hakuba Norikura for powder and linked access to Hakuba Cortina, Hakuba Iwatake for wide mountain views, Happo-one for challenging alpine terrain, and Hakuba 47 and Goryu for courses suited to different skill levels.

During the green season, you can experience the outdoor attractions of Tsugaike and Hakuba without the winter snow. Try the aerial and adventure courses at Tsugaike WOW, ride downhill trails at Hakuba Iwatake MTB Park, take in Northern Alps views from Hakuba Mountain Harbor, or arrange rafting, hot-air ballooning, paragliding, and other outdoor experiences through local activity operators.

Additional Features

You can reach Hotel Belle Cour Inomata by bus from Nagano Station or central Hakuba, while local buses connect the area with Minami-Otari Station.

All accommodation is non-smoking, and the combination of ski storage, natural hot spring bathing, seasonal meals, family spaces, Wi-Fi, and mountain access supports both winter holidays and warmer-season adventures. Station pickup and a coin laundry are not included here because these services could not be confirmed consistently through the property’s current information.
